Exhibitors from across the world to participate in Astana’s industrial exhibitions
Three industrial exhibitions will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from 9 to 11 April 2013 - Kazatomexpo, Power Astana and MachExpo Kazakhstan. The three events, which help bring together related sectors, will feature 80 exhibitors from a record ten countries – Belarus, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Switzerland and South Korea.
"These exhibitions are an opportunity for professionals to discuss prospects for creating joint ventures to further improve local content in trade, labour and services in the country – which will go on to develop exports," said Albert Rau, First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kazatomexpo, dedicated to nuclear energy and the nuclear industry, is set to take centre stage at the event, with leading sector companies from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Finland and South Korea all taking part.
Thanks to the rapid growth of the power industry and the wide-ranging prospects for using the latest equipment and technologies, Power Astana is bringing about interest from leading Kazakhstani, Russian and international power and electrical energy companies, government representatives and commercial bodies. Power Astana's profile covers power equipment, technology and services – both for corporations and for the end consumer. Exhibitors include companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Italy and China.
MachExpo Kazakhstan is a brand new event in Iteca's industrial portfolio held alongside Kazatomexpo and Power Astana, and its exhibitors will include machine building, machine tool building and automation companies from Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Switzerland.
Development prospects for machine building in Kazakhstan will come under the spotlight at the Machinery in Kazakhstan Forum, held on 16 and 17 April and featuring participation from several MachExpo Kazakhstan exhibitors. Held in a format of round tables on a range of issues, the forum will examine issues of effective state regulation and innovation development in the industry, in light of Kazakhstan's integration into the global community.
Business programme
The business programme of the three exhibitions is packed with specialised seminars taking place on 9 and 10 April. KazTechInstrument will hold a range of seminars: "Systems of protection, monitoring and diagnostics of nuclear power plant rotary equipment", "Presentation of mills, lathes and other tools produced by SECO (Sweden)", "Calibration systems for vibration detectors by TMS", and "Vibration and acoustic diagnostics of machines and equipment". Bely Svet 2000 will hold a seminar entitled "European standards and requirements for emergency lighting. Modern products for emergency lighting", while the Kazakhstan office of Finland's Pribori will tell the visiting professionals about "Equipment from leading world manufacturers to detect all types of ionizing radiation".
These three exhibitions will undoubtedly help to create and strengthen scientific, technical and economical cooperation in the development of Kazakhstan's nuclear, machine building and power industries.
