Kaztechmash sells 16 combines this year
Agricultural machinery assembler from NKO Kaztechmash sold 16 combines this year. This is stated by Samruk-Kazyna Invest (SKI). “In the current year, the company sold 16 combines. The SKI is really considering withdrawing from a project. Initially, the project was implemented jointly with the Finnish company Sampo, currently, the plant is reoriented to the German Claas equipment, which operates in another market segment.
At the same time, SKI does not plan to withdraw from the project at a loss to the invested funds, and the final decision on this issue has not been made,” the letter says. Samruk-Kazyna Invest owns 49% in the Kaztechmash project and contributed 10.6% of the total project value of 3.24 billion tenge. The remaining 51% share belongs to KazintertechService, which covered 11% of project costs. 78.4% of the project expenses were financed from borrowed funds, according to the presentation of the SKI.
Since the start of assembly production agrotechnologies, 73 combines have been sold. In September of this year, “Kaztechmash” denied the assembly of Claas combines in the comments margin.kz. Later, the German company announced its intention to assemble its grain-harvesting agricultural machinery on this site.
The representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Bakhyt Ilyasov, told in September that 30 Claas combines had already been assembled in the SKO. Then, the agricultural department clarified that the current supplies of Claas were carried out from Russia to the production site Kaztechmash, where operations are underway to prepare the assembly process and adjust the production of equipment. In the Administration of the North Kazakhstan Region, it was later confirmed that 29 German combines were sold in Krasnodar, and in Petropavlovsk, wheels were installed on them and assembly procedures were carried out for installing light-signaling mirrors and stairs for lifting into the cabin.
