Four industrial events open today in Astana!

Today, on April 7, Korme Exhibition Centre in Astana witnessed opening of industrial exhibitions: 5th Anniversary Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Power Industry, Electrotechnics and Power Engineering, 6th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Nuclear Power and Industry, 3rd Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Machine Engineering, Machine Tool Industry and Automation and 1st Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics.

Special emphasis today was placed on Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics NDT 2015 exhibition and conference, the first to be held in Kazakhstan.

“The area of Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics is the key element of State program of industrial development for 2015-2019.

At present, we have made sustained efforts in collaboration with Kazakhstan Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Association, created Technical Committee No. 76 for Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics, which last year developed over 20 standards, also we have accredited the agency for compliance with nondestructive testing standards”, says Mr. DUGALOV, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Technical Regulation and Metrology of Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to Chairman of Kazakhstan Electricity Association Mr. URAZALINOV, Kazakhstan owns great potential in electricity equipment production. In current circumstances, Kazakhstan needs to receive electricity equipment deliveries, as well as to create joint ventures with foreign companies for electricity equipment and electrical products manufacture. Today more than 80% of electricity equipment and electrical products are imported. This industry demands development, needs careful attention and support of the Government and active efforts of energy companies.

Over 65 leading companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy, Germany, UAE, Czech Republic take part in the joint exhibit display. The companies will present their innovative equipment, technologies and services for Kazakhstan Industrial Complex.

The Russian group exhibit stand is widely represented at Kazatomexpo 2015 with the fullest range of equipment and solutions for Nuclear Power Industry.

Also today, 1st Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Conference starts its work. Arranged by ALE Kazakhstan Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics Association, the conference will consider its key issues of legal and technical regulations in Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics. The overviews of the newest instrumental diagnostics technologies and nondestructive testing equipment will be presented as well.

Intensive business programme is organised within the exhibition. It stands to mention separately an Energy Audit seminar, held by ALE Kazakhstan Association of Energy Auditors and Energy preservation and efficiency seminar, organised by UNDP/GEF and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the title “Promotion of energy efficient lighting in Kazakhstan”.
